We recently visited a large chemical plant and recorded a video about the collector system under the factory. Below you will find a selection of photos and a link to the video.
These collectors served as the main space for laying numerous communications — hundreds of pipes through which not only water flowed, but also all kinds of chemicals necessary for production. During three trips around the factory, we explored about 5 kilometers of the collector system, and there are still areas that we were unable to visit.
We were particularly struck by the size of some of the collectors, the complexity of their intertwining, and the huge number of utilities that once passed through them. Even though most of the equipment has already been dismantled, the scale of the remaining structures is impressive.
